Sister Myreille Daniel received the call to ministry at the age of 9.
Since arriving the in the United States, Sister Daniel has established numerous youth ministries, including OMAD, and has been instrumental in fostering collaboration among the numerous churches in Boston.
Through God's grace she was recognized for efforts by former Massachusetts Governor William Weld and the former mayor of Boston the Honorable Thomas Menino.
While being used by God in her new church, Sister Daniel continually felt the voice of the Lord calling her to continue working in the community.
Also having witnessed the needs of the youth in the North Shore area; it became increasingly apparent that God was leading her to establish a new community venture entitled the "North Shore Rescue Mission".
Founded in the winter of 2007 North Shore Rescue Mission (NSRM) is a faith based organization seeking to reach young people of the community on a spiritual, social and educational level. Through collaboration of numerous pastor and local youth leaders NSRM produced its first annual Youth Convention in June 2007.
This three day event attracted over 1,500 youth and led 500 young people to Christ. Today, North Shore Rescue Mission is witnessing the amazing and saving hand of God working among His children.
We are living in a chaotic world, but Jesus told us not to be afraid for He has overcome the world. Our goal is to unite young Christian men & women to positively influence their families, church, school, and their community at large.
We believe that through the principles that Jesus taught we can change our world and our lives for the better.
